How progression works
Character level and card level are different. Treasures arrive at fixed character levels, while even character levels award a point that you decide how to spend.
Gain one character point at every even character level from 4 through 24. Spend it on an ability, the Ranger skill, or an HP upgrade.
Choose one of two treasures at every odd character level from 5 through 23.
The skill ends at tier 3. HP may be upgraded four times. A second ability follows the same Ranger ability tree.
A completed level-24 build can have two max-level abilities, a max-level skill, and four HP upgrades.
Ranger ability tree
Begin by stunning vulnerable non-guard champions, then develop toward arrow recovery, wider targeting, or a flexible mix of both. Use this same tree when developing the Ranger’s second ability.

Ranger skill: Track
Track looks ahead through the deck and moves selected cards into the discard pile. Later tiers increase how many cards you inspect, reduce the Gold cost, or improve both parts of the effect.
Fast Track
- Expend and pay 1 Gold: Look at the top three cards of your deck. You may put one of them into your discard pile, then put the rest back in any order.
Careful Track
- Expend and pay 2 Gold: Look at the top four cards of your deck. You may put up to two of them into your discard pile, then put the rest back.
Instinctive Track
- Expend and pay 1 Gold: Look at the top three cards of your deck. You may put up to two of them into your discard pile, then put the rest back on top of your deck in any order.
Relentless Track
- Expend and pay 1 Gold: Look at the top four cards of your deck. You may put one of them into your discard pile, then put the rest back in any order.
Flawless Track
- Expend and pay 2 Gold: Look at the top five cards of your deck. You may put up to two of them into your discard pile, then put the rest back in any order.
HP upgrades
A character point may be spent on HP up to four times. Track those purchases separately from both abilities and the class skill.
