Grab your long swords and throwing axes and get ready to bury them in the skulls of your enemies. Revel in the glory of battle as you challenge a gauntlet of other fighters in hopes of rising victorious over them all.  -The Thandar Post

The Hero Realms Fight Club (HRFC) is an event for true fighter enthusiasts. The field is full of max-level (currently Lvl 14) fighters across all the ancestry races. The focus is on each event being “One Big Brawl” so all the events are a group stage into a final round format.

Season 2 Format:
Each month an event will be hosted open to anyone to join. Placing in the top 4 of one of those events earns you an invitation to the Clash of Champions invitational event held at the end of the season. Winning that awards major flex rights for at least a week.

Event Format:
There may be additional rules unique to one event but every event in the season will follow these rules.

  1. Max-level fighters only
  2. Ancestries are REQUIRED and all of them are fair game (including a human)
  3. All Production card sets (whatever sets are not only in beta)

Match Format:
In the group stage, all matches are best-of-1 series and you play each opponent in your group once each.
For each match, both you and your opponent get to pick one ancestry to “Ban” and those ancestries cannot be used by either player.
This is how that process is played out

  • The higher-seed player chooses the first ban.
  • Then the other player chooses their ban.
  • Either player sends a BLIND challenge.
  • The game is then played as normal and the winner reports the score.

The number of people who advance to the final stage depends on how many participants there are. There will either be a top 8 or 16 final stage and I balance the advancements with this in mind. The exact number will be posted on the challonge bracket before the event starts.

In the final stage, all matches are best-of-3 series and the bans apply to every game for that match for both players.
The same order of operations is done for the bans as in the group stage.

  • The higher-seed player chooses the first ban.
  • Then the other player chooses their ban.
  • Either player sends the first BLIND challenge.
  • Once you win with an ancestry (ie Orc) you cannot use it again in the same match.
  • The winner of the previous game sends the next NON-BLIND challenge.
  • The winner reports the score.

*Notes*

  • There are 7 ancestries to choose from when picking/banning.
    • Human/Orc/Ogre/Dwarf/Smallfolk/Half-Deamon/Elf
  • Due to the banning system, you will need at least 3 max-level fighters of different ancestries to participate in the group stage.
  • For the final stage, you will need 4 max-level fighters of different ancestries because you cannot reuse a winner.
