How progression works
Character level and card level are different. Treasures arrive at fixed character levels, while even character levels award a point that you decide how to spend.
Even character levels
Gain one character point at every even character level from 4 through 24. Spend it on an ability, the Fighter skill, or an HP upgrade.
Odd character levels
Choose one of two treasures at every odd character level from 5 through 23.
Upgrade limits
The skill ends at tier 3. HP may be upgraded five times. A second ability follows the same Fighter ability tree.
Level 24 endpoint
A completed level-24 build can have two max-level abilities, a max-level skill, and four HP upgrades.
Fighter ability tree
Advance through the fixed opening forms, specialize toward control or raw damage, and finish with an eligible maximum form. Use this same tree when developing the Fighter’s second ability.
