With the inaugural season of the Hero Realms Premier Circuit (HRPC) entering the playoffs, here’s a recap and some highlights of Season 1!

The HRPC Season included 6 events, in which you earn points based on your performance.  Players are then ranked based on total points accumulated over those 6 events.  Additionally, in each event a player could enter up to 1 of each character, i.e., you could have up to 5 entries in each event.  Each player’s characters were ranked separately.

Season 1 included 344 unique entries among 80 unique participants, across the 6 events.

The top performers over Season 1 are invited to a Championship to determine a Season 1 Champion.  There is a playoff for each character, as well as an overall Championship.  Those Championships have just begun.

Season 1 Events Recap

Event 1 – Single Elimination: All Characters Combined (178 total entries)

  • Winner: DaKatSesMeow’s Thief
  • 2nd Place: DaKatSesMeow’s Ranger
  • 3rd Place: DblDubz’ Wizard
  • 4th Place: nudeltulpe’s Fighter

Event 2 – Round Robin: All Characters Combined (197 total entries)

  • Winner: BirdLaw’s Fighter

Event 3 – Single Elimination: Separated by Character (180 total entries)

  • 2nd Place: DaKatSesMeow’s Fighter
  • 3rd Place: Ruksak’s Ranger

Rangers and Fighters were consistently the top performers in the HRPC, followed by Thieves.  No Wizard or Cleric got past the Top 4.   DblDubz was the only player to reach a Top 4 with a Wizard (Event 1).  corybear88 was the only player to do so with a Cleric (Event 5).

Season 1 Final Rankings

Congrats to DaKatSesMeow, who finished Season 1 Ranked #1 with his Ranger!  DaKatSesMeow’s dominance didn’t just include Ranger though; his Thief and Fighter finished Ranked #2 and #3, respectively.  DaKatSesMeow’s Cleric (Rank #6) was also the highest ranked Cleric at the end of Season 1.

Congrats as well to BirdLaw, who finished with the highest ranked Wizard (Rank #11).

Season 1 Championships: Preview

The Season 1 Championships include a separate Championship for each character, followed by a combined Championship which will crown the Season 1 champ!  Criteria for qualifying for a character championship included winning an event with that character and/or by finishing the season among the top 8 ranked players for that character.
